I wasn’t really looking for one of these, but when someone put this one on eBay for $15 I couldn’t resist. Really glad I found it, because it’s actually really nice. I like the the sleek look it has. Little more modern looking than a regular DynaTAC. I wouldn’t say I like it “better” than a regular DynaTAC, but I definitely like it just as much. It’s also really cool it retains the full-thickness of the DynaTAC. Not that I have any issue with the Ultra Classic size, those are great too, it’s just cool to see a more modern-looking brick in the full-thickness size.
I believe there was a “thin” version of the Meteor that looks exactly like this. I’ll have to look out for that one, as I think it’d be cool to have the matching “thick” and “thin” version. :D
Snapped some pics of the inside. I opened it because it feels heavier than my 8000M, but it doesn’t seem to have any more inside than the 8000M, so not sure why it feels heavier.
Either way, cool to see the insides. :D
