| This is a very interesting device from the early nineties. The Motorola Express Exchange Service uses it to program faulty ETACS Personal Phones.
I found this phone in Spain. The original packaging is unfortunately not so well received. Since the Personal Phone was not manufactured very long, this device is certainly very rare. The guide was a copy and I uploaded it as a file. | |
| Very nice Thomas ! I don't think these phones were made in an AMPS version ? Would love one of these phones, but I only collect AMPS analogue phones. I am still gradually collecting mobile phones, by the way, just not as quickly as I used to ! | |
| Hi Chris,
I have not read anything from you for a long time. I hope you are fine!
Yes, the device is really rare. The Personal Phone was available only as ETACS and as NMT version. I do not know if there were devices for NMT.
So there is unfortunately no AMPS version.
I have seen this programming kit only once in the many years of my collecting activity.

| Ok Thomas, no problems. My best find just lately was buying a very first model Microtac for a good price, been after one of these for years, the AMPS model anyway. Known here as a Microtac 1950 I see someone is selling several early model Microtacs on ebay, in Germany, is this you by any chance ?? Too expensive for me I'm afraid... | |
