Would love the AMPS version of this phone.
The AMPS version was sold in Australia by Telecom Australia in 1988, called the Walkabout MKII.
More slim line that the first MKI Walkabout (BT Roamer), that really was a slab of a phone !

It was my very first mobile, i got it second hand on a new contract, it always said it was roaming for some reason

It clicked everytime it registered or just before it was about to ring.

I could just get it in my toruser pocket, and had to replace the aerial several times, with a bit of coax !
