I wanted to give an update. so I bought another 9000 and the flasher that were provided does work fine! it seems that like you suggested the old phone code was changed at some point.

I just bought 2 more batteries and currently charging them, 1 new and 1 used. for 125GBP! without shipping.

I had bought a battery before from someone in UK for 25 GBP. but when opened the package its all swollen, talked to him and sent it back 2 months ago without a refund yet! he claims it did not reach him yet so went to my post office to make a claim. some people online they lack the professionalism. If I knew that I'd probably opened it and see what is inside.

I currently have 3 batteries. I'm willing to send you one if the 2 I bought are working. I do not need more than 2. will keep you updated shorty! please do not have high hopes as those batteries are very old.
